Usually when I'm shooting a wedding and that 8th or 9th hour comes along I can't wait to get in my car, walk in my apartment, roll on the living room floor with my dog, jump on the bed, kiss my wife goodnight and fall asleep. This time around things were a little bit different. I was actually so bummed when the wedding was over! I have only met Caitlin & John a total of three times but I have talked to Caitlin many times over the Internet. Facebook anyone?! Ever since we met for their engagement session I could not wait to shoot the big day! They got married at the Branford House in Groton, CT which is near the Mystic Seaport. GORGEOUS VENUE! It's basically a massive mansion with a beautiful lawn right on the ocean (overlooking Long Island Sound to be exact) Linette joined me on this adventure and took some amazing pictures! I just love it when she comes with me! :) We started the day at the Mystic Marriott where both Caitlin & John got ready in separate rooms. We then headed over to the Branford House where I basically had to jump out of the car while it was still rolling since we got a little bit lost on the way over and then on top of it hit some wonderful construction traffic on the main highway. The ceremony was beautiful! They even had a really great woman playing the harp off to the side which definitely added to the atmosphere. The reception was just as great and the DJ had everyone dancing the entire night away. I got to work with some really great vendors including: Mike Connolly DJ (A+) Inspiration In Motion Videography (A+) and Lynda from Details Wedding & Party Planning (A+) If you are in the CT area or even Massachusetts I highly recommend checking them out! I cannot wait to finish up these images for Caitlin and I'm excited that we are making three albums for her! I hope to see the both of them again in the future! Stay tuned for more updates...

On Saturday the 15

What do you get when you have perfect weather, a venue with a beautiful view and a great family? You get the wedding of Brianna &

Last Thursday I shot a gorgeous wedding at the Turner Hill Mansion in Ipswich, MA. Steve & Susanne booked with me back in February and I've been really looking forward to their wedding ever since. They are such an amazing couple to be around and I really had a great time getting to know everybody in their family. As I said above the ceremony and reception were held at the Turner Hill Mansion. GORGEOUS VENUE! GORGEOUS GOLF COURSE! If you are still seeking a venue I definitely recommend taking a look at this place. The ceremony was held outside in a little courtyard a few steps away from the main ballroom. A very light drizzly rain began to fall during the ceremony but that didn't seem to bother anybody. I personally think it added to the ceremony and made for a more romantic feel. After the ceremony the weather cleared right up and the happy couple even had their first dance outside on the patio. We really took advantage of the mansion and went into almost every room to get pictures done! I'm really excited for Steve & Susanne to see the final product! Stay tuned for more entries coming shortly...

Wrapping up the weekend I had an awesome engagement session with

My wife and I have become a big fan of cruising lately so when I found out that Kim & Ken were getting married on the Spirit of Boston I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding. They had such a great wedding with very creative venues. The ceremony took place in the Public Garden during another picture perfect sunny afternoon. After the ceremony everyone made their way to the cruise ship for a beautiful two hour reception. The views were wonderful and I enjoyed watching random sailboats cut directly in front of the ship. Gotta love Boston! After the reception I followed Kim & Ken to Anthony's Pier 4 right next to where the ship docks for a little after party. Everyone enjoyed a few drinks and then off to Quincy Market we went to shoot some fun pictures of the newlyweds. I had such a great time spending the day with Kim & Ken and I'm looking forward to finishing up their pictures for them. I definitely recommend checking out a lunch or dinner cruise aboard the Spirit of Boston. It was a great time being on the boat and I cannot wait until our family cruise on Carnival coming up in February!

On Friday I shot the wedding of Laura & Joshua which took place at the beautiful Blissful Meadows Golf Club. The weather turned out to be picture perfect which made Laura very happy! The golf club has so many unique locations for picture taking and we really tackled almost all of them! The happy couple also rented an antique car which ended up being amazing for some fun pictures of the bride and groom (see above) The wedding was beautiful and I really had such a great time with Laura & Joshua. I also got the chance to work with a great DJ which I highly recommend to anyone looking. Dean Michael from Get Down Tonight Entertainment. He really kept the dance floor packed throughout the night and did a great job reading the crowd. I thank Laura & Joshua so much for their kindness to me on their big day and I'm really excited to finish up their pictures. Enjoy the samples posted above!

Yesterday I had another wonderful engagement session! This time with Lauren & Kevin. This was our 2

Today I had an awesome engagement shoot with Amanda & Joe. We just met last week when they booked me for their big day and they wanted to get engagement pictures done ASAP for their save the date cards. I was more than happy to squeeze in a shoot for the both of them! We started out in the Beacon Hill area of Boston where Amanda & Joe had their first apartment together. After that we headed to the Longfellow Bridge and the Hatch Shell. The weather was PERFECT and the sun was just getting ready to set which made for awesome lighting. I really loved our time together and I cannot wait for their big day! Posted above are a few samples from the shoot and I know Amanda is dying to see them! Stay tuned for their wedding pictures next spring... :)

On Saturday I had a fabulous wedding starring Chanelle & Grant! The ceremony took place at the GORGEOUS Methuen Memorial Music Hall. If you are ever in need of a ceremony location I definitely recommend checking it out. BEAUTIFUL! I remember meeting Chanelle & Grant for the first time this past winter. Both of them were so nice to me and I've been looking forward to their big day ever since. Chanelle looked beautiful and Grant looked pretty good himself sporting an all white suit. Both families made me feel so welcome and I had such a good time at the reception. This was also my first wedding using my brand new Nikon telephoto lens which worked PERFECTLY! I'm excited to use it more in the future. Posted above are a few teaser shots from the big day! Enjoy...
